About the Host

I came to this work from both sides of the courtroom.

I started as a defense attorney, sitting with clients who were scared, guilty, innocent, broken, complicated. Then I crossed the aisle and spent four years as a prosecutor, building cases and watching the system from the other side.

Most attorneys pick a side. I couldn't. I needed to understand both.

That restlessness didn't start in law school. It started with a psychology degree and a fascination with why people do what they do under pressure. Now I'm working toward a master's in social work, deepening that understanding of trauma, behavior, and the systems that shape people's lives.

Mind & Verdict grows out of all of it. It's a podcast about what the mind does under pressure, and what the headlines miss.
It's not about reaching a verdict. It's about the question that comes after.
